Have you been in a relationship for a long time and hoping to get asked to marry? Not happened yet but you are now ready? You may need to think about asking the hard questions. Not do you want to get married but rather – Do you want a family? Do you want children? The sooner you ask these the sooner you know where YOU are going. You can only control YOUR own life.
I have known of some close friends children and even nieces who have been in long term relationships hoping that they will be asked to get married. When they asked the hard questions they were shocked at the responses they got from this person whom they thought they knew very well. BIG SHOCK.
If you ask the HARD QUESTIONS and don’t like the responses you get then you have at least 2 choices. LUMP it or LEAVE. There could be other options of course. All the ones that I know of left to restart their lives looking for a similarly minded person to share the rest of their lives with.
